How to import “pencils” into LayerPaint
I’ve been sharing a lot of sketches I’ve created on my Galaxy Note 10.1 with LayerPaint . And in some cases I’ve started the sketch in another app like Papyrus (another great sketching app) or on a piece of scratch paper, then imported the drawing into LayerPaint for finishing.
But when you import the art into LayerPaint, you may have noticed that the app will resize your canvas to the dimensions of the imported image. I may start with a 2300x1500px canvas, but if I import a sketch that’s 590x600px, it will reset the canvas to the latter.
However, LayerPaint offers a way to import your sketches without resizing your canvas. I’ve put together this visual tutorial that explains all the steps.
So many bears in suits. Background time 8’D
Beary Mason is the manager of the light mage division bringing about the age of magic. All the cuteness of an ewok with the power of Gandalf and the beleaguered attitude of Rube from Dead Like Me.
I love this guy, and it’s awesome seeing Lauren bring him to life!
Polite reminder that while Jerzy could probably whip out this guy in no time flat, he takes me longer than I care to admit.
BEARY MASON! Been waiting 5 years to see this guy in a comic. So excited.
Look what I found! Whatever happened to Comico comics? #Robotech #comics
I still love the Comico logo/book branding.
All the art I can do for now. A WIP of Steph meeting her dragon for the first time. And the dragon, who has yet to get a name, likes her because Steph is different from all the other dark mages she’s met. (I don’t know that would actually work I’m just kind of running with this dragon thing Jerzy stop me if needed 8D)
Guys, this excites me. Minimum-Wage Mages is going to happen. And the art is looking sooo good.
Working on a test piece for the Boulder and Fleet comic. My production assistant is going to color flat this for me today, and I got a feeling she’s going to hate my guts.
Pencil and brush pen on 22x14.5” bristol.
It’d be cool to turn this into a short story. Two pages down with this one!
